My Motion Picture

FILM IS TRUTH 24 TIMES A SECOND... WE ARE MY MOTION PICTURE.

Our friendship started when we met in grade school in 1992. We made our first film, at ages 8 and 9 years old, about a National Ping Pong Champion who couldn't handle the pressure of his own fame... we have been creating ever since. An early interest in film for the both of us quickly became an obsession. Our weekends growing up consisted of watching classic films, making short films, and creating our own sports games. Our passion for film has led us to create the art form for a living, there is nothing in the world we would rather do. Let us work for you because we truly care about each and every time we pick up the camera and we are dedicated to perfection.

I consider myself lucky because I've always known what I wanted to do with my life. After taking video production classes in high school, I attended Appalachian State and NCSU where I studied film and creative writing. I am very fortunate and grateful to have learned from acclaimed film scholars at both universities. I believe that film is such an exquisite art form, because it is the only medium that combines photography, music, writing, storytelling, acting, and moving action. Directing a film or video is like conducting an orchestra, there are countless elements that must all be spliced together perfectly to create a combined aesthetic experience.

I have a "top 10" list for everything, and it all started with ranking movies. My favorite film is The Shawshank Redemption, my favorite sports team is the Cubs, and my favorite song writer is Paul Simon.

I've had a strong passion for music, sports, and film for as long as I can remember. However, I always knew my destiny was meant to play out behind a video camera. I graduated from UNCW, where I truly learned my craft in various film & video production courses. Now I get to live my dream each and every day.
